“Bravely Default: Flying Fairy” AR trailer shown

Bravely Default is an upcoming Nintendo 3DS game being developed by Square Enix, the company most known for its Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest game series’. Now, Bravely Default has received some attention after it was shown off at the recent Tokyo Game Show, mainly due to its interesting use of AR.

In Japan, you can download a demo from the Nintendo eShop, but you needed an AR marker to get it to work. However, one person managed to get the AR marker, and record (As well as translate) the demo, which shows you using the augmented reality to summon a girl who looks a hell of a lot like Princess Garnet from Final Fantasy IX (You know, the best Final Fantasy), who pleads with you to become a hero of light.
