Earlier this year Nintendo revealed a long list of companies Nintendo had made partnerships with to show content on the Nintendo 3DS. One of these was the Pan-European sports network Eurosport. Today, Nintendo launched the official Eurosport 3DS application, which can be downloaded for free from the Nintendo eShop.
The app itself bears a striking resemblance to the Nintendo Video channel; in fact, the only real difference is that the theme is predominantly grey as opposed to black. This means that sports highlights will be automatically updated via the SpotPass feature if you choose to allow it to.
Also, Nintendo have announced that “Nintendo TV”; a weekly show on the Nintendo Wii, will be launching on the Nintendo eShop later today as well. Unlike Eurosport which has its own dedicated app, you will have to watch Nintendo TV via the eShop.
