Nintendo are planning to make paid downloadable content available on the Nintendo 3DS from March next year, andriasang reports.
The first title to use downloadable content, which has become the latest thing for developers on other consoles, will be Nintendo’s own Fire Emblem, which has yet to be given a release date or a full title. Players will be able to use the current prepaid Nintendo eShop cards and credit/debit cards to pay for downloadable content. Third party publishers are also in the works on “Paid DLC”, which will be made available next summer.
