Unfortunately, not everyone is ambidextrous like myself and not everyone is right-handed like the majority of people. According to Official Nintendo Magazine, Masahiro Sakurai (of Super Smash Bros fame) has realised this when making the upcoming Kid Icarus: Uprising, which is out this coming March.
He explains in an interview with the magazine that the Circle Pad Pro peripheral will have a use in Kid Icarus: it will allow left-handed players to play the game comfortably. He goes on to say that the normal controls have the player moving Pit with the circle pad, while aiming and moving the camera with the stylus. Left-handed players will however, be allowed to use the Circle Pad Pro to use their stylus in their left hand instead of their right hand.
Sakurai also states that he didn’t even know the specs of, or even what the Circle Pad Pro looked like until the official announcement of Monster Hunter Tri G.
