It was inevitable considering the large fanbase the series has collected over its years. While there is no official confirmation (as in, a press release or official announcement), we now know that Disney and Square-Enix’s upcoming 3DS game Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will be receiving an English language localisation.
The International Movie Database (IMDb) profile of Jesse David Corti has been updated with his role of Neku Sakuraba from The World Ends With You with a credit for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (the appearance of Neku Sakuraba was previously confirmed last year). Upon further investigations, the IMDb page for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance features a long string of actors confirmed to be reprising their roles from previous games.
While anyone can edit IMDb, Jesse David Corti has tweeted confirming the role reprisal, meaning that the game will indeed see an English release at some point (as if anyone was doubting it to begin with).
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will be released in Japan next month and is compatible with the Circle Pad Pro add-on. No English release date has been revealed as of time of writing.
