Starting on the 2nd April, Nintendo Europe will be hosting a 3DS photo competition, where console owners can submit photos to win prizes. The competition is stated to last three months and will have six categories – Animals, People, Places, Objects, Plants and Augmented Reality. While there are no details currently available (such as regulations or prizes), a preliminary website is up. GoNintendo has also posted up the following press release:
It’s time to prime your Nintendo 3DS system and come up with some inspiring photos you reckon have the flair to beat other entries in our Nintendo 3DS 3D Photo Contest. We’ll be opening our dedicated contest site in the first week of April, where you’ll be able to view entries and keep an eye on the competition!
The contest will run for three months and you’ll be able to select from six categories, so get your thinking caps on now and see what ideas you can come up with. The categories will be Animals, People, Places, Objects, Plants and Augmented Reality, which should give you plenty of scope for creativity.
Once you’ve taken your 3D photo you’ll simply need to upload it to our contest site. After the closing date, the entries will be judged and the winners announced. We’ll be providing all the details on rules, uploading and prizes once the contest is underway, so keep your eyes peeled for more news at the beginning of April!
