Although we are still not a step closer into learning when Square Enix’s Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be released in Japan (never mind overseas), we are starting to get the occasional trickle of information about the game itself now. Siliconera has translated an article that was published in Famitsu Magazine, which interviewed Tomoya Asano, the game’s producer and Naotaka Hayashi, the scenario writer. During the interview, Asano stated that the game will feature multiple different endings. The game will have four scenarios based around the four main characters (only two of which, Agnes and Tix have been revealed). Hayashi also explained that his favourite character hasn’t been revealed yet.
In typical golden age RPG form, the game’s story revolves around four crystals and when a crystal is covered by darkness, bad things are said to happen (Such as when the Wind Crystal was covered, a country which revolves around windmills have to resolve to turn the windmills themselves). The game will also feature sub-scenarios where new “Jobs” can be collected.
