Nicalis’ Nintendo eShop port of VVVVVV has been available in North America for some time now, with a European release waiting to be finalised. Today however, the company’s founder Tyrone Rodriguez has revealed that the 2D puzzle platform game will be made available during “the first two weeks of May”. The game has the player taking control of Captain Viridian, who has become lost in an alternate dimension and is searching for his spaceship’s missing crew. The player is able to make Captain Viridian flip between the floors and ceilings of the environment by controlling gravity.
The company’s other title, NightSky will be made available in either June or July. The game is noted as having shunned the handheld’s 3D effect in return for its motion controls.
