Remember when One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP was launched in Europe earlier this year with half of the game missing due to space being taken up by the alternate language tracks the game possesses? Well, it seems like Namco Bandai isn’t one to leave its fans in the dark and without half a game – they have announced that the second half of the game will be released in Europe on 27th July.
The two games are based on Eichiro Oda’s best selling manga Shonen Jump manga One Piece, which has been serialised in Japan in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 1997. The series centres on Monkey D. Luffy, the head of the Strawhat Pirates who are trying to find the legendary treasure “One Piece” in a world that is still very much in the golden age of pirates. The series holds the record of fastest selling book of all time in Japan, with the first week sales of its 60th volume breaking previous sales records. The manga series has sold over 230 million in Japan alone volumes since launch.
An American release for Unlimited Cruise SP 1 or 2 is currently unknown.
