The Nintendo 3DS XL has been a huge talking point among Nintendo fans since it was first announced during an edition of “Nintendo Direct” this time last month. The console is a bigger version of the current 3DS, and if that wasn’t enough to sell it to you – among other things the console has the ability to display DS games a lot better than the current version, plus the console supports a slightly better battery life than the current model.
Not quite sold on it yet? Well, today UK retailer GAME (Yes, they are still alive), have announced an interesting trade in deal. Gamers who trade in their original Nintendo 3DS will be able to pick up the XL model for £79.99, with an AC adaptor thrown in given it isn’t included with the console. You will of course have the chance transfer all the data from your old 3DS to the XL.
The 3DS XL will be released on Saturday in three different colours, red, blue, and silver. GAME are currently taking pre-orders for the console at a price of £174.99. The trade in deal will run from the consoles release until the 9th of August, so if you want to pick the 3DS up cheap you best be quick!
