If there is one Mario game Nintendo 3DS owners have been really looking forward to during the holiday season it’s Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. The title was first revealed during Nintendo’s E3 conference in 2011 and was shown off again during Nintendo’s 3DS conference at E3 this year. The title had been due for release both in the US and Europe during the holiday season, however today Nintendo have delayed the release of the game until the first half of 2013. Nintendo haven’t given a reason for the delay yet.
While Luigi’s Mansion has been confirmed for a 2013 release now, the latest release schedule doesn’t show Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate either, suggesting it has also been pushed into 2013 for its release.
It wasn’t all bad news for Nintendo fans today though. For Nintendo fans in the US, Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle have both finally been dated. Paper Mario: Sticker Star will see release on the 11th of November, while Layton’s latest adventure sees release on the 28th of October.
