As you may know, we at WiiUAndMii launched OperationBrave to fight for a localisation of Square Enix’s Bravely Default: Flying Fairy Nintendo 3DS RPG. We teamed up with other localisation groups who were kind enough to give us support and in turn we gave them support. It has been a hard road, but our joint petition has gathered over 2,400 supporters. Outside of that, people kept on urging Square Enix to localise the game and release it in western territories. We have yet to receive official confirmation, but it may be coming soon. Earlier today, the official Bravely Default Twitter account submitted a Tweet, which reads the following:
久しぶりにTwitterにアクセスしました。外国の方の声、ちゃんと届いてますよ！ I accessed Twitter after a long absence. A voice of the foreign one arrives properly! ※翻訳ソフトを使用してます
Could this be it? Could our battle finally be over? We have been brave and we have refused to accept the default and Japan has heard our voice. Hopefully it won’t be too long until we can finally declare victory.
