Bravely Default: Flying Fairy has yet to launch in Europe and America, having had its localisation revealed in a recent Nintendo Direct. However, off the back of its phenomenal success in Japan, it is no surprise that there is already word of a sequel being in development. Although there has yet to be a formal announcement, Video Game Designer Yasumi Matsuno tweeted that Akihiko Yoshida (Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XIV) is working on the next Bravely Default game. Last December, Square Enix in Japan ran a survey, asking for feedback on a possible sequel.
Bravely Default (under a temporary title that currently lacks the “Flying Fairy” subtitle) will be released in Europe later this year, as well as in America next year.
