Although it was absent from Nintendo’s main Nintendo Direct at E3, the company has confirmed that Arzet’s Yoshi’s New Island, the previously revealed third game in the series, will be released on the Nintendo 3DS next year. Some new details about the game, such as the ability to use the 3DS’ gyroscope, as well as the new “binocular” ability to unlock hidden areas and better aim Mega Egg Throws. Nintendo also noted that the game’s various levels will feature varying art styles, such as oil, watercolour and crayon paintings.
