A recent interview between Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata and Tokyo Keizai Online – translated by Siliconera – has revealed that more than 200,000 people have downloaded StreetPass games in the one month since release. No details on region-specific sales were revealed.
This converts to over $4 million! In one month, and from relatively small DLC games, this is impressive. There are four StreetPass games – Mii Force, Flower Town, Warrior’s Way and Monster Manor – and they can be purchased either separately for $4.99 each or as a bundle of four for $14.99. These games include new unlockable hats and outfits for your Mii.
It is starting to appear likely that Nintendo will continue expanding StreetPass, which has to be a good thing!
