At Gamescom, we learnt some more information about Sonic Lost World in the wake of its incoming release date. This includes a lot of new gameplay showing a second player being able to help out, as well as some features that take use of the Wii U hardware!
The game allows you to share items from the game through Miiverse, potentially helping (or you never, know, hindering) other players. Also, you can use the second-screen functionality of the Wii U GamePad in competitive multiplayer, giving each player their own screen. This feature has been utilized in other Wii U titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Check out the trailer now:
Sonic Lost World – which releases on Wii U and 3DS on 22nd October – is one of Nintendo’s flagship third-party releases this year, and is shaping up to be a fine Sonic game. Go back two decades though, and the prospect of SEGA and Sonic helping Nintendo with exclusive titles would be unfathomable!
What do you think of the trailer? Are you planning on picking up Sonic Lost World this October?
