Last night we reported that Comcept have started a Kickstarter to fund Mighty No.9, a game that can be considered a spiritual successor to Mega Man, the most notable work of Keiji Inafune, the project leader for the new game.
In only a single day, the game has reached its $900,000 funding goal, meaning the game will hopefully be releases in early 2015. However, it is still quite a ways away from reaching the $2,500,000 stretch goal needed to bring the game to consoles. When asked on Twitter about the possibility of a 3DS version, the official Twitter responded by stating that they would definitely consider the Nintendo 3DS if money can allow.
This is a great start, but there’s still quite a ways to go to secure a console versions! Please support the Kickstarter!
