A HD, online version of Soulcalibur II was announced by Namco earlier this year, but so far there has been no word of a Wii U version. The original game came to the GameCube with the exclusive addition of Link as a playable character, which was possibly what made it the best-selling version.
However, now Namco has talked up on the possibility of the Wii U version; at a Namco-Bandai TGS (Tokyo Game Show) event Masaaki Hoshino, producer of the fighting series, said that it “Isn’t out of the question.”.
Hoshino also said that sales of the PSN (PlayStation Network) and XBLA (Xbox Live Arcade) versions of the game could be the deciding factor on whether the game comes to the Wii U. In addition, he added that a fan outcry for the game could increase the chances of it happening.
So there you go; buy the other versions and get sending those messages if you want to see Link in Soulcalibur II HD Online. Do you want to see this game on Wii U?
