Yesterday, NIS America confirmed that the 3DS remake of the Sega Saturn title Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is now officially out in Europe, with a digital release via the Nintendo eShop coming on 26th September (next Thursday), finally giving the 16 year old game its European debut.
The first-person, dungeon-crawling RPG is set in a world that is essentially cyberpunk mets gothic horror. The game tells the story of a city renowned as a beacon of humanity’s technological triumphs that also carries an infernal secret. A group of hackers take on an ancient mystic society in a battle to determine the fate of humanity.
Like other Shin Megami Tensei games, Soul Hackers was developed by Atlus, who were recently bought by SEGA Sammy.
