Today, Marty from Nintendo posted an announcement on the Wii U’s Miiverse social hub, announcing that to help prepare for the launch of the service on the Nintendo 3DS, a few updates have been made to Miiverse on the Wii U. This includes new display options – more communities will be displayed at a time and you can filter which ones appear (such as “Wii U Software”, “Virtual Console” etc). Your user profile will also no longer include the number of “Yeahs” you have been given (which was probably done to stop people spamming in communities asking for “Yeahs”).
Another new feature is that when entering a community, the newest posts would always be displayed first. With the new update, posts by people who have actually played the game will be displayed first.
In the latest Nintendo Direct, it was announced that Miiverse will launch on the Nintendo 3DS as part of a system update that will be made available next month
