For over a year, European Wii U owners have had the GamePad menus red Nintendo TVii icon mocking them. But while Nintendo didn’t quite make the 2013 release date they intended, that doesn’t mean they’ve forgotten about it!
On the European page for Nintendo TVii, Nintendo has published a new apologetic message, which reads:
“We would like to apologise that we were unable to bring the Nintendo TVii service to Europe in 2013 as originally planned.
Please continue to keep an eye out for further announcements regarding this service in the near future.”
Nintendo TVii has been available in North America for over a year, and allows you to view all the TV sources you subscribe to. It also includes Miiverse integration, allowing you to talk about TV with other Miiverse users!
Are you still looking forward to Nintendo TVii?
