(Disclaimer: It hasn’t been confirmed that the Bravo Bikini won’t be returning in Bravely Second. Rumours suggest that it’s in Ringabel’s contract that he won’t return unless it is).
It’s been known for a while now that Silicon Studios are currently working on Bravely Second, the sequel to the critically acclaimed 3DS JRPG
Birdly Default Bravely Default. A revised version of the first game titled Bravely Default: For the Sequel was released in Japan last month (which the international release is based on). This revised edition included numerous improvements suggested by fans that are to be implemented in the next game (hence the title For the Sequel) – with the most notable being the Bravely Second feature.
In a recent interview with Famitsu Magazine, series producer Tomoya Asano revealed that the sequel will feature better graphics than the first game. They won’t be going with a photo-realistic style seen in the first game’s introduction videos, but he has noted that the game’s background will be denser so that the camera zooming won’t affect the visual quality. So it sounds like the next game in the series is going to be receiving a nice coat of polish, which is always welcome.
Bravely Default is currently out in Europe and is due out in North America on 7th February.
