You might remember how the other day, we reported that a third game in Chunsoft’s Zero Escape visual novel adventure series is looking to be an unlikely possibility due to the poor sales of the series in its country of origin, despite the personal wishes of series producer Kotaro Uchikoshi. Despite the low sales in Japan though, the series does have a following outside of that region, who have since banded together to form Operation Bluebird, with the hopes of promoting the cause of a third Zero Escape game by showing fan solidarity and reaching out to the companies and individuals involved. Uchikoshi has linked to the campaign, which has pretty much given it the seal of approval!
Of course, we at WiiUAndMii started Operation Brave, which culminated in the European and North American releases of Bravely Default – something we could not have done without the support of other fans and groups, so it’s only fair that we give back what we received! Please make sure to head over to the campaign’s Facebook page, like it and share!
Another way to support the campaign will also to purchase a copy of Virtue’s Last Reward, the only Zero Escape game to make it to Europe – in fact, until 6th March, the game costs a mere £9.99 on the Nintendo eShop!
