A while ago, Atlus announced that their Persona RPG franchise would finally be heading to a Nintendo system this year with Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, which sees characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4 find themselves in an alternate world filled with Shadows that resembles Yasogami High School, where a legend states that listening to the last chime of the school’s bell will cause people to die. This game, which features gameplay similar to Atlus’ Etrian Odyssey franchise features two different plot lines focusing on each of the two groups try and find a way out of the labyrinth and encounter two new faces, Rei and Zen, who might be able to shine some light on this mystery.
Today, Atlus announced that the game will be released in North America this Autumn, following its Japanese release in June. A European release has yet to be confirmed. Alongside this was the announcement of the non-Nintendo games Persona 5 on PlayStation 3 (2015), Persona 4: Dancing All Night (Vita, 2015) and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (PS3/360, Autumn 2014).
