In the Nintendo Digital Event, it was announced that The Legend of Zelda for Wii U will be released in 2015 – but signs are now pointing towards late 2015. Nintendo Producer Eiji Aonuma has posted his desire for the game to be playable at E3 next year.
In the original Japanese Miiverse post, it is translated (via Google Translate) that Aonuma wrote: “Because I think the E3 of next year, would like to be able to play in practice, please stay tuned.” The English translation that was posted underneath missed out this part of the post.
We always knew that this game would take time, with the large open world being created. Summer 2015 seems like our most optimistic option, though later than that is possible.
