I think the one key thing to take away from this year’s E3, aside from that the Wii U is about to make one heck of a comeback, is that fans really want to relive what is regarded as one, if not the darkest The Legend of Zelda game – Majora’s Mask. The event ultimately closed without an announcement, but even the series’ producer was open about acknowledging the fan demand for the title.
Maybe something is in the works though, as Grezzo recently posted up a lob listing asking applicants to help make a “legend” with them. Grezzo developed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, so maybe they are working on a remake of its sequel? Maybe one is already in development but Nintendo didn’t announce it due to not wanting to overwhelm people with Zelda after Hyrule Warriors and the untitled Wii U game, as well as a 3DS remake already being present in Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, or perhaps the demands at E3 were enough to make Iwata pick up his phone? Who knows! Nothing is confirmed at this stage, but hopefully we’ll hear news of one soon.
Would you like to see a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask?
