Nintendo is pushing the eShop more and more these days, and now the indie game Gone Home has been announced for the Wii U eShop.
Gone Home originally came out in 2013 for PC, and a console announcement was anticipated. Nintendo of America’s Damon Baker, talking at the Unite 2014 conference (go to the 6:55 mark in the video), described Gone Home as “confirmed and coming out in the near future”.
Gone Home was much-loved when it released last year; for example, EDGE gave it a 9/10, and IGN gave it a 9.5/10 in their review. The Fullbright Company, the developers of the game, have previously expressed interest (source) in bringing Gone Home to consoles.
It is certainly a big name indie game for Nintendo to acquire. Are you looking forward to Gone Home on Wii U? Tell us in the comments!
