Earlier today, a removed post from Ubisoft Mexico suggested that the Wii U version of the open-world hack-a-thon Watch_Dogs would be released in the region on 18th November. Since then, Ubisoft have confirmed with us that the game, which was previously released on other platforms back in May, will finally be arriving on the Wii U in Europe on 21st November. The game will be released in North America a day earlier, on 20th November.
Watch_Dogs will utilise the Wii U’s GamePad to bring players a detailed and interactive map of Chicago as they control vigilante Aiden Pearce, a hacker with a criminal past who is seeking vengeance for a violent family tragedy. The game will also support off-TV play.
Watch_Dogs is currently slated to be the last mature rated title to be released by Ubisoft on the Wii U. Will you be buying it?
