Warning: Major The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess spoilers!
When Nintendo and Koei Tecmo released their crossover game Hyrule Warriors, many fans of Nintendo’s much-loved franchise were overjoyed by the opportunity to control some of the series’ much-loved characters for the first time.
One of these characters as Midna, who was Link’s companion during the Nintendo GameCube and Wii game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. However, her appearance in the game only reflects the appearance she took during the majority of her game’s story, excluding her true form that is revealed right at the end of Twilight Princess‘ story.
The Zelda series’ producer Eiji Aonuma however, has taken to Nintendo’s social network Miiverse to confirm that the second downloadable content pack for Hyrule Warriors, which is slated for release next Thursday, will add “Twili Midna” as a playable character. Twili Midna’s weapon is the “Mirror of Twilight”, which is apparently so amazing in-game that Aonuma would rather let us see it in action instead of describing it!
The downloadable content pack will also include new weapons, character costumes (including one that will make Link dress up as a “certain character” from the series) and a new Adventure Map.
