In tonight’s Nintendo Direct broadcast a new entry in the Paper Mario series has been revealed. The new game known as Paper Mario: Color Splash is a Wii U game and will have Paper Mario painting up Prism Island where he, Princess Peach and Toad are visiting.
The idea is that Prism Island is losing its color and so to restore it to its former glory, Paper Mario must go around hitting thing with his hammer to restore life to it. A perfect example for this is when Paper Mario comes across some Toad’s drained of their color, but with Paper Mario’s new-found power they’re swiftly brought back to life.
No other information about the game except for the fact that it will be released on the Nintendo Wii U in 2016 was revealed. From the footage shown in the Direct we have to say it looks pretty nice though.
