“Uh-oh” you must be thinking. “Not another blasted list article!” and we get it – the internet is over-stuffed with pointless articles for everything – even a list of pointless lists (warning: NSFW language)! However, this is a very important list that isn’t a Top 10 of personal preferences or spread across multiple pages (I really hate those). It’s statistical, it’s objective…and it’s about Senran Kagura.
Kenichiro Takaki’s action game series is a bold celebration of life itself; featuring a wonderful cast of characters with varying degrees of life experience. Using released statistics, we have composed a list detailing how bountiful each characters’ life is, which you can read below (in a single page – thank goodness!).
Note: Only characters introduced in Senran Kagura: Portrait of the Girls, Burst, 2: Deep Crimson, Shinovi Versus and Estival Versus have been included.
30: Mirai, 29: Ryōbi (Normal), 28: Kafuru, 27: Sayuri, 26: Hibari.
While they may lie at the bottom of the list, they needn’t worry – Rome wasn’t built in a day and they have plenty of time to reach their life’s full potential (even Sayuri – age is only a state of mind, after all!).
25: Yagyū, 24: Hikage, 23: Minori, 22: Homura, 21: Imu.
Ah, the wonderful stage of youth where they think their life skills are developed enough for them to stand firm – before realising that they actually have plenty of room to grow.
20: Yozakura, 19: Miyabi, 18: Asuka, 17: Naraku, 16: Yumi.
The lives of these young girls have been enriched by a more profound sense of duty, but their youthful perkiness is at greater risk of being dragged down by the weight of their responsibilities.
15: Renka, 14: Ikaruga, 13: Ryōki, 12: Yomi, 11: Ryōbi (Transformed).
These girls have realised that the key to expanding the scope of one’s life is to become more in-tune with their limitations. Only then, can we truly appreciate the unexpected developments that life sometimes presses against us.
10: Shiki, 9: Katsuragi, 8: Kagura, 7: Murakumo, 6: Hanabi.
Those who aspire to experience life to the fullest, by discarding false masks and embracing who they really are, tend to be the ones who reap the greater rewards and personal satisfaction.
5: Rin, 4: Ryōna, 3: Haruka, 2: Daidōji.
Through realising the importance of pain and holding onto their experiences, those who feel more fulfilled with life have steeled their hearts so they may see the true pleasure of happier times.
While it may sometimes seem easier to distance yourself from others and see things play out from afar, the person who experiences the most wholesome life is the one who pushes through their fears. After all, you won’t win big unless you bet big.
I hope you’ve found this list article more enlightening than so many others out there. With these lessons in mind, whose life would you like to experience the most?
