Looking forward to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on March 3rd? Well, it may be good to start reserving time for it, as the official guide to the game has informed us of how many challenges are in the world of the upcoming Zelda game.
The guide has since been taken down from Amazon; perhaps Nintendo didn’t want us to know this info just yet. Similarly, beware of potential spoilers ahead in this article!
As Eurogamer reports, the guide says that there is “120 Shrine mini-dungeons, 900 Korok seed puzzles and 76 side quests” as well as “optional challenges, mini-games, unlockables, Easter eggs, and more”.
Most interesting may be the “Korok seed puzzles” – we have seen Koroks (previously seen in The Wind Waker) in the footage released so far, popping up in various locations. What the challenges they offer are is still a mystery, but with the vast quantity they may well be small tasks to do in the open world of Breath of the Wild.
Oh, and 120 of the substantial Shrines? 76 side quests? Yes please. Breath of the Wild should keep us going for quite a while upon its release alongside Nintendo Switch on March 3rd. It will also release on Wii U on that date. You can check out the latest trailer for the game here.
