Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice or lightning
Lest these titans wreck destruction upon the world in which they clash.
Clearly, Pokémon GO developer Niantic Labs did not heed the warnings of Shamouti Island, for the oft-promised Legendary Birds will be making their appearance across the world in the Augmented Reality mobile game later this month, following a debut at the Pokémon GO Fest in Grant Park, Chicago on 22nd July.
If attendees of the anniversary event are able to defeat the currently unannounced legendary Pokémon at the event, it will start appearing in Raid Battles across the world. If defeated, players will be given an opportunity to catch their own Legendary Pokémon. Once caught, they can be used in Gym and Raid Battles, but cannot be placed in Gyms.
While Niantic’s official announcement video includes Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Lugia and Ho-Oh, there currently is no word on whether Entei, Raikou or Suicune will also be making an appearance, or the Mythical Pokémon Mew and Celebi.
