The third Community Day for Pokémon Go will bring in special bonuses for a brief time in March, as well as a Bulbasaur with a unique move.
2018 has seen the introduction of these Community Days, which last for just a few hours on a select day each month. In February, this included the chance to get a Dragonite with the move Draco Meteor. On March 25th, Bulbasaur gets the new-move treatment from 10am-1pm in the UK (11am-2pm in North America & Greenland, and 12pm-3pm in the Asia-Pacific region).
For now, we don’t know specifically what move that Bulbasaur will have as a result of this Community Day. We do know, however, that you will receive three times as much XP for catching Pokémon in this short time period, and the event give Lure Modules that attract Pokémon for 3 hours.
The short nature of the Community Day may make it seem more exclusive, but that’s also one of the issues with them. Lots of people can’t clear out 3 days at midday all the time, and for people who enjoy Pokémon Go, that’s not ideal. These events are barely Community DAYS – Community Hours may be more accurate…
Pokémon Go hasn’t been short of events in 2018. Today there is a Pikachu-themed Pokémon Day event, and there is also the opportunity to catch Generation III Legendaries right now.
