As if the excitement level for Pokémon on Switch isn’t high enough, we may actually be getting a new Pokémon Rumble game as well!
Via a post on Serebii, we now know that Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. have registered for a video-game related trademark for Pokesucu in Japan. This is a term often used to refer to Pokémon Scramble, or as others know it, Pokémon Rumble.
Pokémon Rumble is a series that has seen games come to Wii U, Wii, and 3DS previously; the last entry in the series was Pokémon Rumble World on 3DS in 2015. Now, this trademark could be linked to the upcoming mobile title PokéLand, as that game uses a lot of the Pokémon Rumble concept. However, PokéLand already has trademarks in place, so this could be something different.
The mind goes to the possibility of Pokémon Rumble on Switch, and that does make a lot of sense. After games on previous Nintendo systems, it isn’t much of a leap to imagine a game on the massively popular Switch. Whether this is a game that also serves as a stop-gap until the mainline Pokémon Switch game, though, is another matter. For information on what we know of that game, you can read an in-depth Tanuki Bridge article on the subject!
